Flooding in Thailand has caused Western Digital to suspend manufacturing and Chinese hard drive makers like Seagate have also been affected with some of their components come from water logged Thailand.

A Faster Way To Read and Edit .PDF

Adobe Acrobat Reader is great. The Portable Document Format is a wonderful standard that’s always sharp and readable no matter what magnification. But the Reader is so slow! And all the updates! What a hassle. For years now, I’ve been recommending the Foxit PDF Reader when people just need a quick solution to open a PDF in an e-mail attachment for example.

Online Video Will Move To Downloads

Vincent Cerf, the Godfather of the Internet, stated that online videos will move from streaming to being set up for download. What this does to advertising and sites like YouTUBE aren’t discussed here. What is advised is that new users and those thinking of purchasing new computers consider the Hard drive capacity to be more important than ever in coming years.
