ANOTHER Great Reason For Beginners To Flock

TAGS: , , , , , ,

I just had to interrupt myself in the middle of a big task when I saw Flock’s new update add visited PAGE TITLES to the browser’s address bar as I began to type in PIPES for pipes.yahoo.com To the best of my knowledge, web browsers will show you web addresses full of numbers and letters and unhelpful information like that. Flock, which I’ve seriously raved about from DAY ONE now adds page titles to disambiguate all that URL Internet address crap that’s impossible to recognize if you’re not thinking with silicon.

The Flock browser is total rock and roll.

With too few exceptions to mention here, I continue to be bowled over by the Flock browser which is STILL in version one. It smacks Safari for PC black and blue, it pulverizes IE 6 and it somewhat shames FireFox version 2. It’s also the browser I prefer to use when visiting the Pipes application from Yahoo! since my IE can’t do it. For code writers and webmasters, Flock is still hard to write for because it’s strict compliance.

For new computer users and beginners who are properly scared to venture too far outside the boundries of what came with their computers, I say, fear not. Flock. This little, tiny page title feature alone is more outrageously helpful than anything else I use to surf the net.
