Twitxr and Seesmic both come racing at the early-adopter folks to warm them up to PhotoBlogging and VideoBlogging (Seesmic). Social Networking online is getting heavy with all the movies, cell phone notifications, feeds and images that, until YouTube’s initiation, were considered taboo. The strike of television writers centered around the controversy that online video is big – and the writers were being paid extra for this new form of syndication.
Services like Comcast’s on Demand, and VuDu and now, Apple’s TV download service meant new forms of syndication that were being pushed quickly into conventional computer user’s lexicon and expectations of what’s NOW… This New Par of what’s normal has inspired us at the desks of Above The Fold to run trials on 2 videos a day covering late edition news. With content that places a higher demand on Internet provisions, standards and stocks across the board will jump up to meet and exceed current draws.
