I love that enthusiastic kids who use the SIDEKICK don’t know that they’re using the Danger Hip Top. The Sidekick from T-Mobile is a whacky, flashy, flimsy phone that’s hinged screen defies description. A keyboard hides underneath and Internet surfing is available though nowhere near as sexy as the iPhone to which I’m now comparing everything on Earth.
Microsoft is going batty. They’re trying to scoop up so much that it’s perplexing industry experts – so far be it from me to attempt a reasonable explaination. Point: They’re buying DANGER who makes the HIP TOP that’s called the SIDEKICK. Could Microsoft be trying to dash into the mobile market – well, duh. Windows Mobile 6 was applauded by critics who otherwise want nothing to do with Microsoft products. If Microsoft controls both the operating system and hardware for such a mobile device, then kudos; they would be following the Macintosh way that’s been in service for well over three decades.
It’s never too late to do something right. Buying Danger could be the first good idea from Microsoft since Windows 98 Second Edition and 2000’s NT structure. Press release.
