MySpaceTV and the makers of successful shows ThirtySomething and My So-Called Life (the best show never seen) are creating QuarterLife. In a deal announced today, there will be 36 original 8-minute episodes controlled by the creators for MySpaceTV. While they’re billing this as a ‘first,’ it isn’t truly the first time anything like this has been done. As the lines between TV and the Internet begin to blur, look forward to similar efforts that lure you with little episode (or web-sodes they used to call’em). This team, Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick, actually created some damn good TV and so we think that if you keep your mind open, you might find some quality in these shows as well. Shows begin November 11th.
